Dubai is the capital of Emirate of Dubai and the Largest and populous city in UAE. Dubai is considered to be the business tycoon of Middle East Countries. The growth of Dubai is mainly due to its Oil Wealth along with the transport facilities it provides. Majority of Dubai’s economy relies on trade, tourism, aviation, real estate, and financial services.

Dubai is located on the Persian Gulf and is surrounded by Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Oman, and Hatta. The Major way, Dubai follows to maintain foreign income is Tourism. Shopping is the major factor for the increased number of tourists while other attractions contribute their share to attract people. As of 2018, Dubai holds the fourth place for the most visited city in the world.

Dubai is the Shopping Capital of Middle East with more than 70 shopping centres including the World’s largest Mall, The Dubai Mall. Dubai Creek played the major role in the economic growth of Dubai and has been considered to become a World Heritage Site. Dubai is also referred as the “City of Gold” with Deira alone housing more than 250 Gold shops.

Dubai has shown some massive architectural feats building some of World’s Largest and Finest structures. The architectural growth is due to the interests shown by Arab top companies which further attracted world’s finest architectural companies. Dubai’s architectural development lead to the construction of Burj Al-Arab, often described as world’s only 7-star Hotel followed by The Palm Islands, artificial archipelagos in the coast of Jumeirah, Miracle Garden, World’s largest flower garden and The Burj Khalifa, The largest building\skyscraper in the world.

Dubai conducts the “Dubai shopping festival” in January and “Dubai Summer Surprises” in June, July, and August exclusively for shopping. Although Dubai is a major tourist attraction, there are certain rules that needed to be followed even by tourists. Violating the rules can lead to penalties. Drug possession and consumption is not allowed in Dubai. Dubai also hosts certain sports and medical festivals.
