Drug Rehabilitation
Drug rehabilitation is the procedure of medical or psychotherapeutic treatment for addiction on psychoactive substances such as alcohol, prescription drugs, and street drugs such as marijuana, cocaine, heroin or amphetamines. The general intent is to aid the individual or the patient to confront the substance dependence, if present, and stop the substance abuse to avoid psychological, legal, financial, social, and other physical consequences that can be caused, especially by the extreme abuse. Treatment includes medicines for depression or for some other disorders, counselling by the experts and sharing of experience with the other addicts.
